Starting the 40 day love dare

My husband and I attend a weekend to remember seminar retreat thru family life a couple weeks ago. I heard about from a friend that was having a hard time with her marriage and attend the seminar. She told me how it made her marriage alot stronger, so i figured i would give it a shot. I went on the website and signed my husband and i up for the marriage retreat. When we got their i was a sketchy. I didn't know what to expect, and wasn't in the mood to hear any preaching from someone who was going to tell me how easy and perfect their marriage was. As my husband and i went and found our seats, i was getting nervous. A few minutes later the seminar started and right away they put on a wedding video of a couple saying their vows but in a very funny unusual way. It was the funniest thing i've seen and the everybody in the seminar was laughing. Right then i knew it was going to be fun. My husband and I learned some much from that marriage retreat. Especially the definition of marriage. I think everyone should attend at least 1 weekend to remember retreat. It is worth it, plus you get a break from your kids:)

When we got home from the retreat. I decided to go rent the movie fireproof. We seen clips of it in our seminar and looked good. So i got my husband to watch it with me and that's when i learned about the 40 day love dare. I was so interested in learning more about it, i decided to google it. I have never heard of the 40 day love dare before. I ordered 2 books and just got them in the mail today. Im so excited to start it and see where it takes my marriage. My husband isn't a big believer in god but i hope this 40 day love dare will help. Wish us the best of luck:)
